Very Rare and Exquisite Art Deco Gem Set and Diamond Bracelet, 'Tutti-Frutti', Cartier

Description

Designed as a row of articulated branches set with circular- and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 3.00 carats in total, decorated with cabochon and carved ruby, sapphire and emerald leaves and fruits, mounted in white gold and platinum, signed Cartier and numbered, circa 1928, length approximately 170mm, case stamped Cartier.

Condition

Signed Cartier, numbered 2919264, 6812 and 9677. Mounted in platinum and white gold as tested. Emeralds are medium green colour of moderate to intense saturation. Sapphires of medium to medium dark blue of strong saturation. Rubies of medium dark purplish red and strong saturation. All gemstones have natural inclusions and slight abrasions typical of carved gemstones of the period. Diamonds, altogether weighing approximately 3.00 carats are on average F to G colour, VS to SI clarity as gauged and graded in the mounting. Signs of minor wear to metal consistent with age. Overall in very good condition. Accompanied by Cartier fitted box.
