The cushion-shaped amethyst stated to weigh approximately 54.48 carats, to a bird perched atop, set with circular-cut diamonds weighing approximately 2.80 carats in total, decorated with a pink sapphire eye, mounted in platinum and 18 karat yellow gold, signed Tiffany & Co., Schlumberger and numbered, case stamped Tiffany & Co.
Condition
Signed Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger STD, numbered 32931987 and stamped 750 for 18 karat yellow and white gold and PT950 for platinum. Accompanied by valuation letter from Tiffany & Co.. Amethyst, stated to weigh approximately 54.48 carats, is medium purple colour with strong saturation and free from eye visible inclusions. Diamonds, estimated to weigh approximately 2.80 carats in total are on average H to I colour, mostly VVS to VS clarity as gauged and graded in the mounting. Pink sapphire estimated to weigh approximately 0.01ct, is light pink colour of moderate saturation with typical inclusions, not visible with unaided eye. Metal in very good condition.
