Condition
The sculpture is sound. There is some light wear to the base, where it appears to have rubbed with the upper element of the work. There are a few very small specks of white matter on the surface of the work - to the reverse of the globe, the base and the figure's left thigh. There are a few minor spots of rubbing to the bronze in one or two places. There is some unevenness to the patina on the base. There are traces of felt and adhesive on the underside of the base. There is some very light surface dirt in places, particularly in the crevices of the bronze.
The work is attached to an integral bronze base with a single screw.
