Condition

The movement is running at time of cataloging. The dial has signs of aging, the hands and indexes are in excellent condition and are still luminescent in the dark. The AP logo is a bit discolored on the top part of the A. The case has scuffs and scratches throughout, particularly a scuff to the bezel between 9 and 10 which is consistent with the age of the watch and regular use. The case has likely been polished. Overall the watch is in good condition and is a fine example of one of the first Royal Oak watches from Audemars Piguet. Please note that the watch was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
