Comprising: a two strand necklace composed of gray cultured pearls measuring approximately 9.3 to 8.7 mm, on a sculptural gold clasp accented with round and baguette diamonds, length 16 inches; a pendant-brooch of matching design to the necklace clasp, two diamonds missing; and a pair of earclips en suite; signed Sterlé, Paris, numbered 1.711, 1.650 and 6.191 respectively, with French assay and maker's marks.
Condition
In good condition, with surface wear to the mountings and two diamonds missing from pendant-brooch. The necklace clasp, pendant-brooch and one earclip signed Sterlé, Paris. The necklace numbered 1.711, the pendant-brooch numbered 1.650, and the earclip numbered 6.191. Each piece with French assay mark for 18 karat gold and maker's mark for Sterlé. The diamonds on the clasp estimated to weigh a total of approximately 0.90 carats; the diamonds on the pair of earclips estimated to weigh a total of approximately 2.00 carats; the diamonds on the pendant-brooch estimated to weigh a total of approximately 5.50 carats; the diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS-SI clarity. The cultured pearls are off-round and displaying a light gray body color, with soft rose and green overtones, some with wrinkled skin and minor blemishes, and good luster. With the clasp, the shorter strand is 16 inches in length and the longer strand is 17¼ inches in length. Clasp closes securely and is fitted with a safety closure. Please note that the pearls have not been tested for natural origin of color.
