Condition

With full margins, in good condition apart from minor discoloration and pale surface soiling, towards sheet edges, the occasional minute fox mark in margin, a few soft handling marks in lower margin (mainly visible verso), framed.

This impression is dedicated to the late Miss Valerie Beston. As a key figure of the London art world, Beston was a close friend of many British artists throughout her career, including Francis Bacon.
