Condition

The illustration of the catalogue is accurate. There is a large restored crack around the neck of the figure. Very nice frame with a nice chasing and gilding.

Trained by Marie-Victoire Jaquotot (1772-1855), Adélaïde-Félicité Hoguer is mentioned in the archives from Sèvres Manufactory as painter of figures. She also painted the portrait of the Comtesse du Cayla, housed in the château d'Haroué.
