Of basketweave design, set with single-cut diamonds weighing approximately .55 carat, gross weight approximately 460 dwts, measuring approximately 6½ by 4½ by 1 inch, with diamond initials 'CPM,' signed Cartier.

In good condition overall, with light scratching and minor denting to the surface of the polished gold segments of the vanity case and the interior compact. The interior compact and the clasp are embellished with diamond-set monograms CPM. Diamonds are of decorative quality. Mirror is broken through the center, but is stable in its frame. Some discoloration to the metal elements on the interior and soiling to the interior leather. Separated into six compartments, comprising; a glass topped compartment, a compartment containing a removable powder compact (with powder screen and powder puff), an empty compartment, two spring-loaded compartments for lip sticks or lipstick cases and a slot to house a comb (non-extant). Both the vanity case and the powder compact are signed Cartier.
