Ruby and emerald parure, Hemmerle

Comprising: a bangle of geometric design, set with step- and calibré-cut emeralds and rubies, inner circumference approximately 160mm, signed Hemmerle, a ring, size 55, maker's mark for Hemmerle, and a pair of earrings, post and hinged back fittings, maker's mark for Hemmerle. 

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Bangle signed Hemmerle, earrings and ring signed GH, each piece stamped Pt and 750 for platinum and 18 carat gold. Emeralds well matched in colour, green of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, abrasions and chips. Rubies well matched in colour, purplish red to red of medium strong saturation, with typical surface reaching inclusions, minor abrasions. Largest ruby on the bracelet measuring approximately 11.57 x 9.47 x 5.80mm, and calculated to weigh approximately 6.00 - 6.30 carats. Largest emerald measuring approximately 12.20 x 9.48 x 4.88mm, and calculated to weigh approximately 3.50 - 3.80 carats. Earrings: ruby measuring approximately 9.64 x 8.10 x 4.68mm and calculated to weigh approximately 3.50 - 3.65 carats; emerald measuring approximately 9.36 x 8.00 x 4.83mm and calculated to weigh approximately 2.30 - 2.45 carats. Ruby on the ring measuring approximately 8.81 x 6.96 x 3.25mm and calculated to weigh approximately 1.50 - 1.65 carats. Signs of normal wear to the metal. In very good condition.
