Of bombé design, set with a cabochon ruby and brilliant-cut diamonds, to an engraved mount, size I1/2, signed Buccellati, Italian maker's mark.

Condition

Rubies: Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin is required before the import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. Accompanied by GRS report no. GRS2015-107001, stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin, with indications of heat treatment and minor residues. Signed Buccellati. Italian maker's mark 15MI. Ruby weighing 14.89 carats, purplish red, translucent, typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, several surface reaching fissures, abrasions consistent with wear. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.00-1.50 carats, diamonds bright and lively. Scratches to metal consistent with wear. Please note that the ring has an open backed shank making it fit a size I1/2 toa a size L ring size. In good condition.
