Chris Riddell, the British illustrator, writer and a political cartoonist for The Observer is the first ever triple winner of the Kate Greenaway Medal. In 2015 he was appointed the UK's Children’s Laureate. His introduction to Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland was published in Puffin Classics in 2008.
