All six pairs of side hinges are replaced and there are some small associated areas of loss to the lacquer around the hinges. The four legs and the reattached, there has been some restoration to the four legs and aprons. The back of the cabinet may have been relacquered. The black lacquer on the interior of the cabinet may have been retouched in parts. There are some areas of retouching and possibly restoration to the edges of the four doors and the central stile. The small handle of the cabinet's right hand side drawer is loose but there. The four door panels are in overall good condition with some minor losses to the raised parts of the design. There are minor losses to the lacquer to the diaper pattern on the sides. The colour of the lacquer is of a darker, more saturated tone than the catalogue illustration suggests.
