Condition
Tempera on linen laid on plywood. The board is flat and ensuring a stable support. As visible in the catalogue illustration, there are two horizontal tears in the linen in the centre right framing edge (10cm and 4cm). The tears are probably from an early stage, before the linen was laid on the board and have possibly been secured by the artist himself. There are also two very small spots of flaking along the right framing edge; this appears to be stable. Ultra-violet light reveals no sign of retouching.
Presented in a narrow wooden frame.
