Condition

First two volumes are excellent copies. There is some minor spotting and browning, mainly noticeable on the pages which face the folding maps. The folding maps themselves are in good condition with no tears or creases. There is some spotting and browning to free endpapers of each volume and the head of dust-jacket for vol. 3 is slightly frayed, with some very small tears close to the spine. There are booksellers' labels in first and third volumes and an ownership signature in vol. 3.
