The flexible lapel-watch of geometric design, set with baguette, triangle, marquise-shaped and old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 5.00 carats, accented by cabochon emeralds, the movement signed Niton Geneve, numbered 5355; circa 1920.
Condition
In good condition. The diamonds are approximately F-H color and VS-SI clarity. The cabochon emeralds are a medium green color and are heavily included, one of the cabochons is significantly chipped at the apex. Nice movement when worn. The mechanical movement is extremely rare and well made and is currently running. The movement is signed Niton Geneve. V baguette pin watch, 18 jewels, Geneva seal on main plate. High grade V movement with all adjustments designed in 5 bridges. Movement number 5255. Recently cleaned, oiled, and adjusted. The watchmaker notes that this movement is very sensitive to shock and magnetic field and therefore would not be appropriate for everyday wear. To wind, carefully rotate the crown 10 finger rotations, the watch should run approximately 24 hours. Please see Important Notice Regarding the Condition of Watches on page 289 of the catalogue.
