Centering a calf's head-shaped peridot measuring approximately 21.0 by 14.2 by 7.5 mm, framed by diamond-set birds and stylized feather motifs, set with round, baguette and trapeze-cut diamonds weighing approximately 5.25 carats, signed Cartier, London JC, numbered 10056; circa 1930.

Condition

In very good condition. The eye-clean peridot displays a strong medium yellowish green hue; displays a single scratch to the table facet but otherwise in good condition. The diamonds are approximately E-G color, and VVS-VS clarity. Accompanied by a copy of the Cartier 1976-1977 brochure where the brooch is illustrated on page 7, no. 17.
