the translucent white stone carved with deep rounded sides , all surmounted by a splayed base supported on four short foot, the sides flanked by a pair of openwork dragon mask handles suspending loose rings, an interlinked ring chain with a scroll-shaped panel attached to the handles, the body carved in low relief with a pair of taotie masks below archaistic scrolls, the well-fitted cover surmounted by a waisted finial, wood stand

Condition

The vase and cover are both in overall good condition with just expected minute nibbles to the rim and feet, as well as the extremities including the tip of one dragon's ear.
