Catalogue Note
A SET OF RARE PETER PAN EPHEMERA.
A volume entitled Peter Pan's ABC was published by Hodder and Stoughton in around 1914. It included illustrations in colour by Flora White. It can therefore be assumed that this set of cards dates from around this time. The set present in the British Library (RF.2005.b.8) was acquired by purchase, rather than by legal deposit. The set is undated on the British Library stamp.
Sets are uncommon. The last set sold in these rooms on 12 July 2007, lot 225.
