- An Egyptian Polychrome and Gilt Cartonnage Mummy Mask

wearing a tripartite wig and broad collar painted in black and touches of red on the white ground with numerous rows of foliate and other beads, the face with long black-painted eyebrows and cosmetic lines.

Condition
Cracks and other imperfections as shown on photo; bent somewhat out of shape in places, including mouth area. The mask is mounted in a box with sliding glass top, and hung on a support with a nail visible at the top of the wig.
