Harry Beaseley was a noted collector of art from the Pacific and Northwest Coast. He established his collection as the Cranmore Ethnographical Museum at Chislehurst in Kent in 1928, and arranged for part of his collection to be housed by the British Museum, Liverpool Museum and the Royal Scottish Museum in Edinburgh.
