Condition
Very good condition for an object of this type and age. Minor marks, nicks, scratches, abrasions, cracks, and small chips consistent with age and use. Age crack extending partially through body of rattle on one side. Remains of fiber from attachments. Exceptionally fine aged, layered crusty black surface of ritually-applied material.
