Condition
Paper laid down on canvas and on a wooden stretcher, it has the original board backing which has not been removed, so the back of the canvas is not visible. Some rubbing especially along the margins and the corners. The surface of the pastel has suffered a bit overall and there is surface dirt. Colors are still quite strong and subtle. Sold in a 19th Century carved and gilded French frame as is its pendant.
