Each stamped 'Photograph by Man Ray', with the '1245 Vine Street Hollywood, Calif.' stamp on the reverse. One card stamped 'Photograph by Man Ray' and annotated on the reverse.

Condition

These prints are in very good to excellent general condition. One print with the corners slightly worn and with a light crease of approx. 2 cm near the lower left corner. One print with lower edge slightly worn and with spots of retouching visible in raking light only, its card slightly worn. One print with dots of retouching and its card very slightly worn.

Tamara Toumanova, a ballet dancer and actress, is photographed in front of a stone Aztec sculpture that belonged to the collectors Louise and Walter Arensberg, and is today in the collection of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
