Set with a mixed-cut ruby weighing 14.89 carats, within a series of foliate links set with cushion-shaped, circular-cut and rose diamonds, four small diamonds deficient.
Condition

Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 11030108, stating the ruby weighing 13.00 carats, measuring approximately 20.20 x 13.00 x 6.00mm, is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating, together with appendix letters.
The ruby of richly saturated and homogeneous red colour, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, and a few nicks and abrasions. Diamonds calculates to weigh a total of approximately 18.00 - 20.00 carats, on average H - K colour, VS - SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting, four very small diamonds missing. Signs of normal wear to the metal, consistent with use and age. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 32 grams.

"The natural ruby... described in the above mentioned Gübelin Gem Lab Report possesses a richly saturated and homogeneous colour. In addition, this remarkable gemstone has been spared of thermal treatment. Such a combination of characteristics is rare in natural Burmese rubies of this size."
