Catalogue Note
This exceptional vivid pink diamond was formerly in the collection of Huguette Clark, and weighed 9.00 carats, mounted in a ring by Dreicer. The ring was offered at auction in New York in 2012. Since then there has been considerable research carried out on its history. The GIA monograph which accompanies the ring contains a summary, and excerpts are reproduced above in the additional images.
