Description

Set with a cushion-shaped sapphire, within a frame of pinched collet-set cushion-shaped, circular-cut and oval diamonds, size 461/2.
Condition
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 72343, stating that the sapphire, weighing approximately 7.2 carat and measuring approximately 13.10 x 11.30 x 5.10 mm, is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating.
Sapphire is blue of medium saturation, for further information please refer to the report; good transparency, some fine nicks and abrasions on the surface. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 2.50 - 3.00 carats, on average of H-J colour and VS-SI clarity (very few I), as gauged and graded in mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use and age. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 10 grams.
