Fair condition; the first with losses to both ball-form hand holds to armrests; metal L brackets to at joint of armrests and armrests supports; appears to have been originally caned with infilled caning holes; the larger chair with old repaired breaks at joins of cresting rail and stiles; this chair was also originally caned with infilled caning holes to cresting rails and sides; lacking caster wheels; both with refreshed decoration with small chips and losses to edges ; both chairs are sturdy and with later springing to seats. Upholstery in fair condition.
