raised on three leaf-form feet, the cover with a stem-form knop.

Condition

The cover has been broken in half, with two further smaller breaks to the rim at either end, all of which has been restored back; the knop has a related restored break to the stem. There is a 4 1/2 x 1 3/4- in. curved section broken out of the side of the tureen, which has been neatly restored back, and a minor 1 1/2-in. vertical haircrack to the rim. The repairs are museum type restorations, which are neatly done and not readily apparent on the exterior of the tureen.
