Condition
Executed on cream colored laid paper affixed to a mount at several places along upper edge. Edges are reinforced with tape. Artist pinholes at all four corners. Mat stain, approximately 1/4-inch in width, around the perimeter of the sheet. Sheet is time darkened. Watermark runs along right edge. Overall this work is in good condition.

There is a 1943 charcoal study for this watercolor in the collection of the Busch-Reisinger-Museum, Harvard University, Cambridge (Bequest of William S. Lieberman, 2010.160).
