Catalogue Note

It is understood that only a very small number of the reference 3525 chronographs were cased in pink gold. The present watch is an outstanding example of reference and may be the only one known in pink gold with the Italian retailer Verga’s name to the dial. Production of reference 3525 was launched in 1939. The model was also made in stainless steel and yellow gold.
Various versions of reference 3525 are described and illustrated in 100 Superlative Rolex Watches by John Goldberger, pp. 96-107, and in I Cronografi Rolex - La Leggenda, Pucci Papaleo Editore, pp. 162-192.
