Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the background is somewhat lighter in the original. The catalogue illustration fails to fully convey the glossy, textured quality of the impasto in the lower half of the composition of the original.
Colour:
This work is in very good condition. There is evidence of light wear to the lower and upper right corner tips. Extremely close inspection reveals a very fine and unobtrusive tension crack running intermittently along the extreme outer vertical edges. Upon further extremely close inspection, there are a few very short and minute drying cracks in a few isolated places in the thicker areas of impasto. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
