Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate. Condition: This work is in good condition. There are a few rub marks in places to the black edge and the tips of the flag. Very close inspection reveals a fine and shallow scratch below the black writing. There is a small number of media accretions in the recessed areas of the black writing. There are fine cracks to all four corners, which fluoresce under ultraviolet light. Further inspection under ultraviolet light reveals small spots of fluorescence in the black writing and towards the lower right corner tip.
