Worked with silk threads on a linen ground with bands of alphabets and wide band of Tudor roses (loss at center). Signed Sarah Choate Born April 7 (date removed) this sampler wrought 1786. Below, baskets of flowers, deer, goose, barking dogs and strawberries. Some losses at center.
