Condition
The panel is flat and even, and ensuring a stable support. There is a small horizontal surface scuff in the upper right quadrant, in the background. Ultraviolet light reveals strokes of retouching to the figure which are just visible to the naked eye, notably in her forehead, left shoulder, and arm, and in some of the white pigments of her gown. The old varnish layers over the background fluoresce quite opaquely, however it is unlikely these conceal any significant retouching. The work's overall appearance is good.
Presented in a simple varnished wood frame.
