Condition

The following condition report was kindly provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.: This work is well restored. The canvas is not lined but has been treated with a non-acidic adhesive. It is well stretched. Under ultraviolet light, no retouches are visible in the sky. Much of the original pigment in the darker colors reads quite strongly, but it seems that this all corresponds to original pigment. The painting seems to be in very original condition and should be hung as is.
