Catalogue Note
Neither ISTC nor GW nor Schreiber record the presence of the engraved arms (90 x 98mm.) of Wilhelm von Reichenau (1464-1496), bishop of Eichstätt, on the first leaf of the calendar. The earlier Würzburg edition of 23 February 1483 (in folio, GW 5339) contains a larger version of these arms (Schreiber 3598; 185 x 191mm.). The smaller version appears also in the Statuta Eystettensia, printed in Eichstätt by Michael Reyser in 1484 (Schreiber 5301, BSB-Ink S-556).
Rare: ISTC records only eight copies (including the present copy), three of which contain only the pars hiemalis.
