Condition

This work is in good condition overall. The canvas has been relined and the extreme edges are taped. There is evidence of wear and handling marks to the edges and networks of hairline craquelure at the upper right corner and left center edge. There are some light and scattered surface abrasions. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is evidence of retouching in the areas that are a lighter shade under normal light conditions. The spots of inpainting are located intermittently along the left and right side edges, particularly near the center, at the bottom left, top right and bottom left corners, in the center of the painting to the left of the star figure, around the left side of the bottom form and in other scattered spots. Framed. *Please note the auction begins at 9:30 am on November 14th.*
