Condition
The canvas is not lined. There is a thick varnish through which the UV light cannot fully penetrate but there do appear to be some retouchings in places along all four framing edges and one slightly further in to the centre of the left edge. There are some fine lines of craquelure to some of the pink, white and green pigments and some minor paint shrinkage to the blue in the upper right corner. There is a very faint horizontal stretcher bar mark across the centre of the work. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition.
Colours: overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though the greens are slightly brighter in the original.
