Condition

Colours not as dark as in the catalogue photograph. Lighter tones and more attractive in reality. Pile 2mm and down to foundation in are in the centre. Small reweaves and repairs. For example lowe right corner spandrel with vertical apricot coloured reweave. Old moth visible reverse of top left corner. Some losses along the edges. Some cobbled repairs in areas. Small areas of warp heads showing. Small specks of dirt in lower ivory spandrels and two thirds of way up on left side. EMBARGO ON IMPORTATION OF PERSIAN/IRANIAN WORKS OF ART TO THE USA.
