Condition

Overall very good condition showing gentle use. The surfaces of the chair frames are limed, which vary across the surface of the frame inherent in the design and visible in the catalogue illustration. The surfaces throughout are slightly rough which is the intent of the design, and not an issue of condition. Each chair shows minor, nicks, scratches and dings consistent with gentle use. The caned seats are in excellent condition and possibly replaced at some point in the chairs’ history in a manner and material consistent with the original design. One chair with a minor break in the cane to the seat back and associated loss measuring ¼ inch in length. The seat is stable as the loss is small. The coloration of the frames and caning are very consistent across the pair of chairs. A very nice offering of the model.
