Minor areas of staining on the right side of the miniature and small creases on the left and right edges of the paper, as viewed. This work is in good condition overall.

Catalogue Note

The scene depicts a hunt expedition where animals are herded into an enclosure as described in Mughal records. To the left of the composition Mahima is shown hunting and to the right Ala-uddin is seen slaying a tiger that is interrupting his lovemaking.
