Depicting a shepherd and maiden adjacent the ocean applied with green, blue and yellow enamel, within a frame decorated with white enamel flowers, gross weight approximately 11 dwts, signed Joe Dëscomps, with French assay and maker's marks; circa 1900.

Condition
In good condition. The plique-à-jour enamel with minor bubbling from the time of manufacture, but seen only under mangification. The translucent, off-white enamal and gold-colored translucent enamel also in good condition. Signature found along the lower left rim on the front, maker's and assay marks on pinstem.
