Description

Of foliate scroll design, surmounted with seven drop-shaped natural pearls each in a mount embellished with rose diamonds, graduated in size from the centre, the scroll surrounds set with pear-, cushion-shaped and circular-cut diamonds, the button-shaped pearl at the centre of a cluster motif, inner circumference approximately 380mm, may be detached into eight jewels, three may be worn as brooches, the two larger pear shaped diamonds are later additions, accompanied by a fitted case.
Condition
Mounted in silver-topped gold. Pearls of silvery white to creamy body colour, with very faint rosé and green overtones, few blemishes and growths marks, two pearls with visible drill holes on the top, good to very good lustre, for further information, please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 45.00 - 50.00 carats, including the two larger pear-shaped diamonds estimated at approximately 2.00 and 2.30 carats, on average of G-I colour (some F-H, some with slightly more yellow) and VS-I clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches and indentations consistent with use and age. Well preserved and in good condition.
