The openwork lozenge-shaped pendant set throughout with rubies, opals and diamonds in various cuts, heightened with red, blue and green enamel in foliate and scrollwork motifs, one diamond missing. With box signed Garrard & Co. Ltd.
Condition
In good condition overall; one diamond missing from center surround of pendant, not easily visible to naked eye, some loss to enamel, and some minor discoloration to gold on reverse. Five round and oval-shaped rubies weighing approximately 2.80 carats are a deep brownish red, with chipping visible under magnification. Six opals in various cuts with a nice interplay of color and no apparent crazing. The 11 round and old mine-cut diamonds weigh approximately .50 carat, and are near colorless and decorative in quality.
