Condition
To the naked eye:
The painting is in overall moderately satisfactory condition.
It's painted on a cradled panel expanded with a 2,5 centimeters band in the upper part.
The painting is under a very dirty varnish.
There are flaking forming some blisters in the upper left corner around the arm of the Virgen in the apple, in and under the faces.
There are horizontal traces on the junction of the planks. One crossing the panel at the level of Mars' hand on the center, the second crossing the arm and the legs.
Under UV lamp:
The painting is under a green varnish who has been partially cleaned on the characters.
There are slights retouching in Mars' chest, in the arm of Venus, in the legs of the characters (specifically in Mars' knee on the left and in his foot on the left). Some retouching along the slits.
