struck with mark for small work, Paris, 1717-22 on spout, rim of cover, stem and rim of foot, and with later French swan control marks, circa 1900

painted in underglaze blue, iron red and gilt with branches of prunus and baskets, mounted with gadrooned borders and shell-shaped spout, angular scroll handle and matching scroll thumbpiece, the cover with domed finials chased with scrolls.
