Condition
Copper plate is flat. painting is clean and presentable as is. there is excellent retention of the paint surface with lovely detail throughout. ultraviolet light reveals some areas of retouching at bottom over what appear to have been scratches in white drapery between Christ child's feet and on his right foot, and to red drapery on both sleeves. otherwise, there are just a few very small retouches here and there on figures, though with very few on flesh tones, and in background. these have been well applied and there is no need for further work.
In an ornately carved gilt wood frame with nicks.
