Condition

This sculpture is in very good condition. For works of this period, the string and the balance arms can eventually deteriorate or alter balance over time, and the paint surface exhibit some loss. As a result, in 2004-2005, Calder Restoration replaced the string and returned the arms to their original balance to maintain the integrity of the artist's original design, and repainted the hanging elements.
