Condition

This painting is in excellent condition overall. The two panels appear to have been joined at the time of execution, as some passages of pigment are continuous from one panel to the next. Under ultraviolet light, there are no apparent restorations. The work is framed in a multi-beveled wood frame of antiqued gold finish with a small float. There are also small scattered traces of pigment on the inside rim of the frame, indicating the artist executed at least some of the work while it was in the frame
