Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly warmer in the original.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are a number of nicks and losses around the edges of the raised squares and along the extreme outer edges of the work, most notably to the lower raised edge. There are a small number of cracks in places throughout, including one to the centre of the top raised inside edge. Some light surface dirt has accumulated over time throughout. Examination under ultra-violet light reveals small, scattered spots that fluoresce throughout, mainly in the recessed areas of the work.

Catalogue Note
"If I have a right angle and glue it in such a way and make a relief, then it should still- so I think- be a little poetic. Yes, so it lives"
